As a result of the new California Autism Insurance Law (SB946), adults with autism can now receive behavioral health treatment (BHT) services through their health insurance plans. To receive coverage, families need to know whether their health plans cover BHT services as well as exactly what services are covered and whether their adult child qualifies for them. Vista Center for Behavior Analysis (Vista) is offering to navigate this process free of charge for adults with autism and help families determine their coverage eligibility for behavioral services.
